Sketch 50

This week we have a Sketch design as a challenge.

Sketch designs can be interpreted  in many ways and and for this one I have have used the circle as an aperture and the design for the aperture is fixed to the inside of the card.  The sentiment is on the outside.

This is my card:-

Requirements
6''x 7''  dark blue card
A4 sheet patterned paper
Sentiment stamp FRS 6i6
Small piece of black card
3mm and 6mm Clear crystal gems
6'' x 6'' piece of Clear Snaps Acrylic sheet
Strip of cream card

Process

1  Score the piece of blue card 1''  from narrow end this will fold over and give a  finished card measuring 6'' x 6''

2  Cut a 3'' circle in the centre of the Acrylic piece

3 Take the Acrylic piece and stick to the inside of the blue card

4   Cut a 5'' x  5'' piece of the patterned paper and stick on the inside the card.

5  For my embellishment in the centre of the card I made a teabag folded medallion  and in the centre I stuck a group of the 6mm self adhesive crystals.

6  Cut a 4'' circle of black card and stick in the centre of the patterned paper and on top of this place the medallion.

7   On the strip of cream card stamp the sentiment using Versafine black ink pad. and cut bow ends in the tips.

8  Matt the sentiment strip on to the black card and trim the bow ends.  The sentiment is attached to the front of the acrylic piece.

9   The ends of the sentiment have the 3mm self adhesive crystals on each end, and the folded blue edge has the 3mm self adhesive.along the edge of the blue card.
