From our house to yours Day 4

Christmas 'From Our House to Yours' is the title of this weeks blog post.  Guess what I've changed   my title but it still is one home to another.  I think there are many people who have friends and family overseas and so I have used the  phrase 'Across the miles'.  I have friends over the pond and would happily send this card to them.

So here is my card

This is what I used

1 sheet white card
Small piece white card
Piece of Patterned Christmas paper
Piece of 'Map' style paper
Grey pearl card.
Green Holographic Alphabet Stickers
Artemio Snow Village stamps
Stickles Diamond glitter glue
Aquarelle pencils
Colorbox wicked black ink pad

This is how I made the card

Take the sheet of white card and cut a triangle from the top long edge.  Score 2 lines one at 10cm and one at 20cm,  fold the card so that it forms a concertina.  Using the Christmas patterned paper and cover the front of the card  leaving a border of 5mm. With the card folded  cut a matt to cover the inside back panel.  Again a border of 5mm needs leaving around the edge, attach the 2 Christmas patterned panels to the card.  The final               panel for the centre panel is cut from a map based paper the 5mm border is appropriate  for this piece also.

The House panel is stamped using the Colorbox Wicked black and then very lightly with Aquarelle pencils and then cut down to the size required.  Edge this piece with black ink.  The next pieces to cut are a matt for the house panel and the 2 top panels for the 'Across the Miles' to on.  Cut these from the silver pearl card.  Decorate the stamped image with Stickles Diamond Glitter Glue

Edge the back panel of the houses with the ink pad again.  Attach all the pieces to the base card.  The final step is to place  the alphabet on the card ...... ACROSS THE MILES........

There you have this weeks card, hope you like it.
